Jacob Moss, P.A. is a licensed and bonded public adjuster in the states of Florida and Colorado, an expert on hurricane preparedness, and a lifelong South Florida resident. The son of an engineer and general contractor, Jacob's spent his whole life wearing hard hats in construction zones. He started in construction at the age of 12 (don't tell anyone!) and worked with Flagler Building Systems and for nine years before getting his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Jacob immediately got his independent adjuster's license and pursued a public adjusting apprenticeship, which he found under Brian Ellis at I.I.W.I.I. Public Adjusters. Jacob Moss continued insurance adjusting for several years before starting his own public adjusting firm, Florida State Public Adjusters, Inc.

Right now, Jacob and Florida State Public Adjusters, Inc. work as public insurance adjusters throughout all of Florida, and the team has helped countless homeowners, landlords, tenants, businesses, and property managers get the money owed to them by their insurance carriers.​ From Boynton Beach to Orlando, from Miami to Tampa, from Naples to Jacksonville, and from Fort Myers to the Panhandle, Jacob Moss, P.A. has been a presence.

Florida State Public Adjusters, Inc. provides these services, but Jacob also provides them with his company dedicated entirely to this area of the industry, Jacob Moss Consulting, Inc. He's also a member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA), an advocacy group fighting for the rights of policyholders and claims adjusters in the state of Florida.

To give himself additional qualifications and education in the field, Jacob Moss, P.A. pursued and received his Water Damage Restoration certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in November 2019. He also achieved the highest available level of certification in the Simsol estimation program, receiving private advanced training at their national headquarters in Orlando. Throughout all his licensing, training, and work experience, Jacob also spent years working with structural and ocean engineers on forensic inspections, helping to give him an eye for detail that you won't find with the average public adjuster. Jacob puts all this knowledge and experience to use by serving you as a local insurance adjuster across Boynton Beach, the Gulf Coast, South Florida, the Panhandle, and the state as a whole, never insurance carriers.​

When Jacob isn't fighting insurance companies or advocating as a public insurance adjuster for policyholders, he enjoys playing music and checking out dive bars for interesting cocktails. With his former experience as a professional bartender, Jacob often makes drinks at home before settling in for movie night with his girlfriend, who is very similar to him except slightly better in every way.
